Leading and participating in different disciplines of Fitness has been a passion of mine for years. In 2000, I discovered Mat and Reformer Pilates and by the end of 2001, I was certified as an Instructor by Evolution Pilates & Yoga. The next step in my development occurred a few years later when I completed my Yoga Alliance 200hr Instructor Certification. A few years later I had the opportunity to enhance my Yoga certification in Costa Rica and completed my 35hr Kundalini Training through Semperviva Yoga College. What an experience! On a work assignment in 2013 I landed in the city of Calgary for a few months and was introduced to a new style of Indoor Cycling otherwise known as Spin. I personally found it a great complement to my current Yoga and Pilates practice and was hooked. On The Edge Fitness Education provided the chance to finish being certified in this new area as well and further round out the experience I could offer to my clients. As my personal passion for fitness has grown, so has my desire to impact others. In 2015 I took the plunge and got ACE certified as Personal Trainer.
In all four practices, I create new and interesting ways to keep the body and mind motivated, challenged and engaged. In class and one on one, we create endurance and strength through the entire body mindfully. We move from one exercise to the next and ensure along the way that the whole body is put to work during our sessions.
